He has wild hair, wears a T-shirt with holes
in it, jeans, and no shoes.  This was literally his
wardrobe for his entire four years of college.

He is brilliant.  Kind of profound and very, very bright.
He became a Christian while attending college.

Across the street from the campus is a well-dressed,
very conservative church.  They want to develop a ministry…

Dialogue

In dead of night, with open heart, I wait in silence to hear the voice of Him I love

‘Speak softly to my heart. My ears are open to hear Your words. My heart and spirit long to be in Your presence.’

‘My heart is heavy. My remnant is almost lost. Soon none save a few will be on their side. Their blood will flow and none others will defend.’

‘My Lord and Saviour what can I do?’

‘Stand firm, My Child. Remain on watch. The day approaches when all will be revealed. Stay constant and vigilant. Write My words and listen. Listen well, for I have more to say.’

31 Days of Blessings

Reblogged from Even A Girl Like Me:

Who doesn't want to be blessed?

I'm not one to write out a list of resolutions, but I do like to claim one word of focus for the year ahead and also read something encouraging and motivating in the first 31 days.

The following from Max Lucado is one of my favorite readings and I want to share it with you.

If I speak

If I speak with voice of thunder will the lost hear and pay attention? No, for they have closed their ears.

If I speak with voice of thunder will My people hear and pay attention? No, for they have hardened their hearts.

If I speak with voice of thunder will my shepherds hear and pay attention? No, for their voices are louder than Mine as they strive to enforce their own religion.

My voice is soft. My voice is quiet. I speak only to those with ears to hear, and into the hearts of my servants. They know My voice and hear My words. They offer the sacrifice of praise and are ready to do My will.

Listen well for My voice, but remember that this does not bring superiority or arrogance. Rejoice instead in humility and thankfulness for you are servants of the Most High.

Before You Can Dry Another's Tears - You Too Must Weep!

Reblogged from Morning Story and Dilbert:

Let me not live a life that's free,
From "THE THINGS" that draw me close to THEE-

For how can I ever hope to heal,
The wounds of others, I do not feel?

If my eyes are dry and I never weep,
How do I know, when the hurt is deep?

If my heart is cold and it never bleeds,

Santa comes clothed in red, with gifts that will last for the season.

Listen for the sound

The breeze carries a sound that all should hear; the sound of Love that cannot be denied. Those that hear it will defeat hate. Those that accept it will have life everlasting.

The breeze carries a sound that many will ignore; the sound of Love that should not be ignored. Those that ignore it will flounder within the sea of hate.

The breeze carries a sound that many will deny; the sound of Love that should not be denied. Those that deny it will be condemned to live with hate.

The breeze will shortly blow. Await My breeze, for on that breath is your eternity.
